At the Counseling Corner for Marriage and Family Therapy, P.C. (CCMFT), our focus is on relationship issues and our goal is to create possibilities for change. We are a private practice for Marriage and Family Therapy located in Midtown Manhattan and Long Island in Merrick and Rockville Centre.

Our services will provide you with the knowledge and understanding of how relationships work and how problems can be resolved in even the most challenging situations.  We provide psychotherapy services for individuals, all couples in a committed relationship, and families.

Couples that we see are in various stages of their relationship (i.e.; dating, engaged, cohabitating, or married).  We help these couples get out of negative relating styles and reconnect with each other.  Families that come to us are dealing with parenting issues, a difficult child/teen, and anger in either one member or the entire family.  We help these families to solve these and other issues, and work together to make lasting changes.   

Individuals that seek our help are usually dealing with an issue in their relationship, or feeling anxious or depressed as a result of distress in their lives and relationships.  We help these individuals find solutions to have an overall healthy life, improved relationships and/or choosing the right partner. 

Our goal is to help our clients to expand their picture of the problem and to find new possibilities for change.  Whether the sessions are with an individual, couple or family, the therapist always views the client embedded in various relationships.  We believe that a person grows in relationships and it is our mission to help our clients resolve conflict, establish resources and improve relating skills needed to enhance the overall health of their lives and relationships.

For the convenience of our clients, we have three locations: Midtown Manhattan (Madison Avenue-NYC) and Long Island (Nassau County) with offices in Merrick and Rockville Centre.  Evening and weekend appointments are available.
